A modern twist on traditional crafts
It all started in a tiny studio above a gift shop, around the corner from my house.
Working part-time in the city and juggling three kiddos, it was time to try something different.
So in 2015 I started The Studio Workshops - offering kids and adult workshops and craft parties. It was a crazy ride, busy weekends filled with mini makers, birthday parties and school holiday programs. As things got a little bigger, so did the space and we expanded our adult workshop range, introducing crafternoons, hens parties and then craft kits. We had so many beautiful makers and special moments.
When the coronavirus pandemic began, I decided to close the Studio space and expand our craft kits and supplies. We had no idea that these would become so popular and keep things going through lockdowns.
Currently our workshops are on hold but one day we will be back. In the meantime, we have plenty of goodies to keep you making at home.
